Baby First Aid Courses

During these difficult and isolating times, I have had many requests to do my Baby First Aid Courses "Online" as well as in person.... so here are the details.

These classes will run exactly as I normally run them and you will receive EXACTLY the same information and still be able to ask all of your questions in a group setting apart from we will be all in our own comfy homes, which means more comfortable seating ...... every cloud as they say!

My Baby "Online Interactive" First Aid Courses are suitable for Parents, Expectant Parents, Grandparents, Siblings and Babysitters.

The Classes Usually Cost £40per couple per session and £22.50 per person, but online will be £30 per couple per session and £17.50 per person.

Courses will be running on a Saturday evening from 6pm - 8pm and will require  a minimum of two couples to go ahead with a maximum of 10 couples attending each course.

Payment will secure your place, which will be on a "first come, first served basis"

Unfortunately the most likely place for accidents or illness to occur is sadly in the home. The knowledge you gain from this course can make a significant difference when facing a life threatening emergency. It really could be the difference between life and death. Baby Safe
courses cover many of the typical emergency or life threatening situations that can occur at home.

Who should subscribe to this course?

I believe everyone should have knowledge of how to save a life, from parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters to friends and relatives .....you never know when this knowledge may come in useful.

What does this course cover?

This course covers first aid techniques for babies under one year of age and children up to the age of eight. It is designed for parents and carers of babies and children such as grandparents and baby sitters. Babies in arms are welcome to attend with their parents up to the age of eight months.

 

The following: topics will be covered:


Unresponsive baby and child breathing


Unresponsive baby and child not breathing


Choking - baby and child


Bleeding


Burns


Raised temperatures


Meningitis

This course is two hours long and will give you the confidence and skills to act quickly and effectively in the unfortunate event of an emergency in your home.
